Beautiful dish in blue and white. This is a Jingdezhen made dish made for the Japanese market. Kosometsuke.
With a floral and bird decoration. Base with a chenghua mark
The base is bit pointed and lower then the footrim, therefore not completely steady when put on table.

Guanyin, the bodhisattva of compassion, is portrayed here as a beatific figure seated upon a raised lotus pedestal over waves. Guanyin is dressed in heavy robes, and wears an elaborate headdress.
