According to some sources, enamel products were first produced in China during the reign of the Yuan Dynasty (1271 - 1368). Chinese cloisonné products were among the goods that traveled along the Silk Road from China to India, the Middle East and Europe since the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644).
