A fine antique Georgian style mahogany tea caddy.
Of bombé form with fruit wood inlay, gilt brass mounts & handle, and bracket feet.
Simply a wonderful, rare form!

Late 19th or Early 20th Century
Overall Condition:
It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition.
Condition Details:
There is rubbing to the gilt hardware, some checking (or splits) to the veneer, a few small losses to the wood throughout (mostly to edges and corners), and an older reglue to the base & feet. Otherwise, there are some tiny losses here & there, some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age
