About the Item
English Georgian Antique Chamberstick Candlestick W/ Wick Trimmer
Item # 107PQP29L-3
A very nice circular brass chamberstick from the first quarter of the 19th century, it features a working candle ejector and retains an early and likely original pair of wick trimmers. The three-quarters open finger ring is riveted to the dish with replaced copper rivets and the candlestick is affixed through the base with a pin riveted over a brass nut over a broad iron washer. A wonderful warm surface patina throughout.
Measurements: 4 1/2" H x 6 7/8" D x 6 1/2" W
Condition Report:
Good antique condition, tarnish and wear as expected; minor dents/abrasions and overall light scuffs throughout the dish; verdigris and candle wax build up in crevices; two copper rivets are later repairs.
