About the Item
A Pair of Late 15th or Early 16th Century Oak Saints carved in high relief and raised on polygonal bases. The female depicted standing in contrapose with lowered head wearing a draped mantle and neckerchief over a long gathered robe. The male with curly hair and long draped robe, holding his hands together in prayer. Faint traces of residual paintwork, 38.5 inches (98 cm) in height.
