Antique Italian Le Nove Floral Painted Faience Earthenware Lidded Jar, 19th C
About the Item
A fine and elegant antique Italian Le Nove floral painted faience vase and cover. The earthenware hexagonal shaped vase has a moulded ribbed body exquisitely hand-painted with bright floral designs on a white ground. The vase has a similarly shaped domed cover with raised finial also painted with floral designs. The vase has a blue star mark to the base.
Provenance: From the estate of an eminent and world renowned artist.
