Dealbata Porcelain Vase by Alessandro Mendini for Zanotta, '1987'

About the Item

An amazing postmodern white porcelain vase designed by Alessandro Mendini (born 1931) for Zanotta's "Edizioni" collection and produced in limited numbers. Released as one of three vases Mendini designed for the line in 1986-87, it is tall with a tapered base and top and applied shapes on the exterior, all of which gives it a look very much in line with the sophisticated maximalism seen in the work of Ettore Sottsass and the other members of the Memphis Group. In excellent vintage condition and signed Zanotta on underside. Measures: 7" × 7.5" × 10.5".
