Mid-Century Natural Smooth and Rugged Burlwood Bulbous Bud Vase - One of a Kind

About the Item

This one of a kind, hand made, organic Mid-Century burlwood vase features natural swirling burl pattern with a rich smooth and glossy surface that contrasts with the rough and rugged indented burl depressions and crevices which flow naturally throughout the vase. It features a gentle bottle neck and a bulbous ovoid shaped body with a glass tube insert for a flower. It has substantial weight so it can’t be knocked over easily. The perfect ovoid shape of this vase amongst the natural voids in the wood makes it quite a unique masterpiece in form. Most natural wood vases like this do not have this perfect shape and symmetry. The glass insert is approximately 4.25" deep to accommodate the stem of whatever is chosen to be put into it. Measures approximately 7.50 inches high by 6.00 inches wide. In excellent vintage condition.
