About the Item
A small studio pottery vessel by significant 20th Century ceramicist Otto Heino. This piece features the buttery yellow glaze Heino perfected after his wife’s death, a continuation of her long-running project to reproduce a lost glaze recipe from the Chin Dynasty China. This rounded bud vase has a ribbed texture and soft yellow speckled glaze.
Signed on the underside, “Otto ‘99.”
