About the Item
Stunning pair of French Sèvres style soft paste porcelain and Parian vases or urns of traditional cylindrical form and French origin, circa mid-20th century.
The unusual central areas with a continuous detail depicting Cherub faces in Parian unglazed porcelain, the flaired upper rim area with decorative gilt swirling detail on a pale green ground, ending on circular spreading gilded bases.
A very unusual pair, perhaps an Interior decorators useful offering.
Condition: Good untouched condition with no imperfections and no wear to gilding, marks as shown.
Measures: Height (entire as shown on image one) 10" (24.5 cm), diameter (at top rim) 4.75" (12 cm).
