WMF Myra Kristal Iridescent Glass Vase by Karl Wiedmann
About the Item
A very fine German Art Deco Myra Kristal amber glass vase with a wonderful blue iridescence vase made by WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik) and dating between 1926 and 1936. Designed by Karl Wiedmann this stylish vase stands on a narrow rounded foot with a rounded shaped body with a molded ribbing and with a wide trumpet shaped top. The body of the vase is decorated in a rich iridescent oily finish with tones of red, blue, green and yellow. The vase has a polished slightly recessed pontil and is not marked.
In good condition with minor wear associated with age and use.
