Zsolnay Hungarian Art Nouveau Glazed Vase
About the Item
This very vintage textural and raised forms of this glazed ceramic vase is by the Hungarian artist named Zsolnay. It is a glorious combination of color of elegant sensual nude reliefs in this small vase vessel and decorative ceramic luster glazed object. The iridescent colors of turquoise, green and brown are so amazing. This just stands out! It is textural and has relief form. This is a very early work of this artist... and is stamped on the bottom. "Made in Hungary". This bridges the time between Art Nouveau and the beginning of Art Deco but can fit into a modern environment. This is a stunning piece of relief ceramic work of the artist. This is a special find and a very special Zsolnay vase or vessel or sculpture in ceramic form. The colors and the glaze are stunning! This would be great in both a modern and traditional home and there in between. It could be used as a vase or a special decorative arts object. it is mesmerizing.
