About the Item
A smart Edwardian liquor or whiskey hip flask.
By James Dixon & Son.
In silver plate, glass, and leather.
With a removable silver plate cup to the base, twist top stopper to the top, and an embossed 'alligator' pattern leather cover to the glass body. The twist top lid has a cork on the interior.
The cup is engraved with the monogram "JG".
The base is marked with the James Dixon factory marks and "EP". It also has incised numbers "13102762".
Simply a wonderful flask!

Overall Condition:
It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition.
Condition Details:
The leather is pulling up very slightly and the see-through window of the front & reverse. There is some light blemishing and wear to the silver cup, and some light overpolishing inside the engraved monogram. Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
