K-OVER Champagne, CHERRY BLOSSOM, silver 999/°°, Italy
About the Item
This champagne bottle cover is a true work of art and belongs to the Works of Art collection.
The K-OVER was made entirely by hand by Mary Yoshida, a Japanese artist currently living and working in Florence. The intent is to celebrate his home country. The making took several months, and the techniques used are embossing and chiseling. The value lies in the artistic perfection in depicting cherry blossoms. The design is further enhanced by some mother-of-pearl settings. The artist worked on a single piece of silver in a cylindrical shape. The negative side remains inside the template, making it extremely difficult to get the volumes out from the inside to the outside as there is not enough space to use a normal hammer. The technique used is Renaissance and is called the "hunt out.
A special plexiglass display box will be delivered along with the champagne cover.
Artista :
Mary Yoshida was born in Yokohama where she graduated from Waseda university. In 2000 she began studying jewelry in Tokyo and later moved to Florence where she continued her studies at the Perseo school. After graduation, he worked at the Foglia artisan workshop and opened his own workshop in 2012. Sta collaborando da anni con K-over ai progetti. "Works of Art.
Technical features:
K-OVER is a brand of P.M.P. Florence, a company with more than 40 years of experience in the world of silverware. Working in this area for so long has allowed us to develop a new product, the champagne cover. A thermal fabric is placed inside that can maintain the temperature of your champagne bottles. The cover can be used an infinite number of times: unscrewing the cap located underneath allows the bottle to be changed. All champagne covers are new or have been exhibited at cultural or artistic events including the Florence Antiques Biennale in 2022. K-OVERs are suitable for champenoise-shaped bottles such as: Moet Et Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, Cristal, Pol Roger, Piper, Perrier Jouet, Taittinger, Mumm, Ferrari, Berlucchi.
