Designed by Stephan DAKON (1904-1992) / one of most important designers having been active for Goldscheider manufactory in period of 1920-1940 / design of this model circa 1926.

Subject:
'VEIL DANCE' lady in elegant dance pose
The lady dancer is holding a long piece of cloth, the veil, on both ends with nearly outstretched arms. The fabric forms a long loop that is reaching down to the floor. She tilts her upper body slightly to the left and with her head in laid back position she is looking down with nearly closed eyes. The dancer is clad in a one-piece suit with short trousers and tight-fitting top with a big collar. The clothing is decorated in the finest Art Deco manner.
The figurine is based on a black quadrant pedestal.
