Antique English Caughley Porcelain Milk Pitcher or Jug

A fine antique English porcelain milk pitcher or jug.
Comprising the pot, a conforming lid, and a later associated chain connecting the two.
With blue underglaze decoration of floral sprays and a three dimensional flower finial to the lid.
Marked to the base with a blue underglaze 'C' for Caughley.
Simply a wonderful Caughley pot!

It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition.
Condition Details:
The finial to the shaker top has losses & bends. Otherwise there are fine and light indentations here and there, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
