Mediterraneo, Six Contemporary Porcelain soup plates with Decorative Design
About the Item
The Mediterraneo collection is the result of Vito Nesta’s reflection on the line between reality and fantasy. The architectures of the doors depicted on the plates arise from technical drawings of monuments never realized but that inspired those that are present today in many Italian cities, from Milan to Rome. The same contrast is present in the setting, the doors portrayed at sunset are in fact surrounded by scenes inspired by colors and scents of North Africa.
