Large Ceramic Cream Covered Swan Tureen With Feather Ladle and Serving Plate
About the Item
Your next dinner party just got interesting. This large vintage ceramic swan tureen is just what your table has been asking for. Created from ceramic, this piece is shaped like a swan. The top consists of the bird's long white neck which is removable to cover the food kept inside. The base is oval and large enough to hold nearly any kind of dish your heart desires. A ceramic ladle sits snuggly inside with the handle decorated as a plume of feathers. This listing includes a large matching ceramic base for the tureen to sit upon. It is large and oval and in the shape of a lily pad. The entire piece is glazed in a shiny creamy white. There are no maker marks, however, the ladle is signed in gold ink.
