About the Item
An impressive Pair of Antique Georgian solid Silver Sauce / Gravy Boats. These Gravy Boats are of notably substantial size and weight. Each Sauce Boat is embellished with an ornate chased design incorporating floral and scroll patterns. Each Jug has a pair of blank shaped cartouches. The Sauce Boats each stand on three scroll feet and have floral embellished scroll handles.
Made in London in 1820 by William Fountain.
