About the Item
Spode (England, Founded 1770), Felspar Porcelain (Introduced 1821), circa 1840.
A 3 piece grouping of antique Spode Felspar porcelain including a pair of covered sauce tureens and dessert tray. Each piece with an ivy green colored base, accented by gilt floral & foliate decoration. The sauce tureens each have butterfly handles and finial.
An unusual Heraldry is adorned to each element in the set "Bear or Forbear" with a fantastic Black Bear painted to each central image. This Armorial Heraldry was used by the Bear, Bernard and Bircham families.
Base of each is marked "Spode Felspar Porcelain".

Sauce Tureens measure 5" h x 7.25" w x 6" d
Dessert Tray measures 10.5" w x 7.75" d x 2" h
