An exceptional, fine and impressive vintage Elizabeth II English cast sterling silver owl pepperette; an addition to our animal related silverware collection
This exceptional antique Victorian cast sterling silver pepperette has been realistically modelled in the form of an owl/owlet.
This impressive silver owl pepperette is embellished with details reproducing the features of the bird's plumage and anatomical features.
This sterling silver piece retains the original push fit cover/head which features pierced 'pepper' holes.
The cover of this antique owl shaped pepper is further ornamented with the original bead eyes.
Condition
This antique silver owl pepperette is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.
The cast decoration is all very sharp.
Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the owl'st ail and part hallmarks to the sleeve of the cover are all very clear.
Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this piece of Victorian silverware.
