An exceptional, fine and impressive contemporary cast sterling silver stirrup cup modelled in the form of a dog's head, an addition to our diverse silver drinking vessels collection.
This exceptional contemporary sterling silver stirrup cup has been realistically modelled in the form of a hunting dog/English Mastiff's head.
The surface of this cast cup incorporates details to reproduce the canine's facial features and fur.
The rim of this stirrup cup is encircled with a plain moulded border.
The dog has been determined as an English Mastiff due to the characteristics of the facial features and furrowed brow, in addition for their use within hunting.
Condition
