Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver Menu / Card Holders

An exceptional, fine, and impressive set of four antique Edwardian English sterling silver menu/card holders - boxed; an addition to our diverse dining silverware collection
These exceptional antique Edwardian fox head menu holders in sterling silver have a rounded form.
These antique silver holders are embellished with cast fox head and crossed riding crop designs, ornamented with details reproducing the fine definition of each fox's fur and anatomical features.
Each exceptional menu holder is fitted with a plain support to the posterior surface of the hunting design.
This impressive set of Edwardian silver menu holders are fitted to a hinged leatherette box with satin and velvet lined interior, secured with a push fit catch.
The interior of the box bears the retailer's mark 'Watchmakers to the Admiralty, The Northern Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Company, 1&3 Blackett St Newcastle'.
Condition:
These fox head menu holders in sterling silver are an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional presentation condition.
The cast decoration to each piece is very sharp.
The hinged leatherette box is in presentation condition.
Full hallmarks struck to the surface of each base are all very clear. Please see image 10 for reference.
Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of these pieces of antique silverware.
