About the Item
An exceptional, fine and impressive antique George V English sterling silver three-piece tea service/set made in the Arts & Crafts style; an addition to our silver teaware collection
This exceptional antique George V sterling silver three piece tea set consists of a teapot, cream jug and sugar bowl.
Each piece has a compressed circular rounded form onto a spreading collet style foot.
The body of each piece has a subtly planished finish, with an applied moulded border to the upper rim.
This large and imposing teapot is fitted with a plain hinged hallmarked cover, surmounted with the original and impressive sterling silver bud style finial, in the Arts & Crafts style.

The cream jug and sugar bowl are fitted with cast sterling silver scrolling handles; matching the Jensen style ornamentation to the teapot handle.
The teapot spout is embellished with applied scrolling ornamentation to either side.
