Giant Art Deco Brass Fountain Pen and Mechanical Pencil Display Models
About the Item
Oversized retail advertising presentation brass fountain pen and mechanical pencil display signs from the early 1920s when they would have been featured within a wood and glass display cabinet at the pen counter of a stationary store.
Originally the fountain pen would have been marked on its side "Wahl Pen" but this has been worn or polished off over the last 95 years. See image 19 for an example of these original vintage displays from the Wahl Eversharp Company and image 20 for examples of the actual writing pens depicted by these giant replicas.
Both have spectacular engine turned Art Deco styling with plenty of space if you want to have them engraved with someone's name or initials.
Fountain pen measures 24-1/2" long x 1-1/2" diameter.
Mechanical pencil measures 21-1/2" long x 1-1/2" diameter.
Comes with blackened iron display stand.
Great gift for that special writer.
Sold as a set.
