Chalkware NYS Ballet Dancer Table Lamp
About the Item
This incredible lamp from the 1950s is by N.Y.S. It depicts a ballet dancer with black tutu and bun in her hair in full leap. The light comes from the back and glows through the decorated vellum. The frame around the vellum is contoured chalkware that gives the lamp texture.
The soft glow this lamp gives off makes it perfect for a bedroom lamp.
The chalkware is in good overall condition with a few blemishes you would expect with age. The original velum paper back does have a burn mark from a hot light bulb. See pictures.
