About the Item
Slender, rare and elegant Danish Mid-Century Modern ceramic table lamp by Danish designer Richard Kjærgaard (1919-1999). Manufactured late 1950s-early 1960s for Bing and Grøndahl before the company became known as Royal Copenhagen. Sage, mint, artichoke green celadon glaze over striped graphic relief pattern on both neck and base. Switch on original fitting. Stamped under base with maker's three tower mark (an old symbol of Copenhagen) and designer's monogram. Beautiful condition.
