Italian Brass Mirror Attributed to Gio Ponti, 1950s

About the Item

Elegant Italian brass mirror in the shape of a stylised diabolo. The mirror dates from the 1950-60s. It is clearly in the style of mirrors that Gio Ponti, the most celebrated Italian architect&designer, designed during that period. The brass has just be cleaned to remove the dirt due to ageing. The mirror is original with some fading on it or veil effect. This renders the authencity of this ancient original mirror.
