Antique 19th Century Architectural Model of Cathedral

About the Item

An English late 19th or early 20th Century scratch-built model in glass case of Lichfield Cathedral. This stunning scale model includes replicas of the stained glass windows and was done after an extensive restoration in the Victorian era was completed. The Lichfield Cathedral dates back to 1195, but has seen many restorations and additions. A fascinating history surrounds this important cathedral and this scratch-built model honors its beauty and heritage.
