British Royal Navy Searchlight and Signal Light
About the Item
Superb and substantial marine beacon by Francis Searchlights of Bolton, England. From the Ministry of Defense, British Royal Navy. With shutters for signaling and ability to use as a powerful spotlight. Incredibly over engineered. Fitted to a substantial iron base topped with mahogany planking simulating a ship's deck. Look at all of the gears and levers. Spectacular relic. The massive head has a spectacular polish and lacquer job.
Overall dimensions: 65"H x 21"L x 22"D. Base is 40 inch diameter. 350 pounds.
