Ship's Anemometer and Aerovane, Sculptural Piece, Hand Polished, Fibreglass.

About the Item

A ship's anemometer and aerovane originally mounted on the top of a container or large ship, where it would be connected to two dials on the bridge to indicating wind speed and direction. Now a stunning sculptural piece, the body and propeller blade have been hand polished and the coloured tail fin is fibreglass, the highly sensitive bearings enable free oscillation. It may also be attached to a roof / ceiling upside down or used outdoors. Note: image shows multiple aerovanes, the price is for one.
