Huge Decorative Scientific Induction Coil
About the Item
We were told that this coil was originally from West Point but there is no paperwork to back that up. We also guessed at its age. But it looks to be over 100 years. We have owned many coils over the years but nothing of this Size or quality. The wood furniture surrounding the coil is beautiful showing turned wood ends. In almost ll cases these Induction coils were utilitarian in look and design. Not this example. It was made for show and large demonstrations. This was an important piece that was built to impress. It is constructed in 2 pieces that wire together. Each side takes 2 people to lift and move. I don't know how powerful this coil is. so please don't ask me to test it.

The M4 Horse Gas Mask has 2 large filter canisters, one placed on each shoulder of the horse. It has a chest mounted pack, and a rubber mask for the horse's muzzle. Flexible hoses run between the components, and leather straps keep everything secure to the horse.
