About the Item
This art rug is made in premium New Zealand wool and silk, woven by our network of family-owned weavers near Mirzapur, India. The design was created by Igloo Design for the 2011 exhibition "Tapetes, Tejiendo Historias" at the Franz Meyer Museum in Mexico City.
Griselda Ojeda and Monica Peón are the team behind Igloo. Mexico City based graphic design studio with over 15 years of experience.
Their work has been published and exhibited in México and internationally in magazines and other specialized forums such as: Communication Arts (USA), Whereishere (USA), Etapes Graphiques (France), Best Dutch Graphic Design (Holland), Blobjects and Beyond (USA), Step inside Design (USA), ARC Design (Brazil), Matiz (México), DX (México) and Zeebelt Theater (Holland), Kong tienda-galería (México), Gurú Gallery Shop (México), Vértigo (México), Amarillo Centro de Diseño (México), Franz Mayer Museum (México), Modern Art Museum (México).
