Chiavari chairs (Chiavarine) have a 200 years long history and since the beginning of their production they have evolved in several models being always recognisable for a distinctive frame structure which allow them to be one of the lightest chair in the world without compromising their sturdiness and stability. Between the 1930 and 1960s they have been one of the first choice of some of the most renowned Italian architects and interior designers when they had to select a dining chair able to fit their refined taste. Names of the likes as Luigi Caccia Dominioni, Ignazio Gardella, Piero Bottoni, Gio Ponti, Azucena, Gianfranco Frattini have often used Chiavari chairs...Category
