About the Item
This set of two DSC 106 chairs was designed by Giancarla Piretti for the Italian Castelli in 1965. It is one of the best-known models of the brand's chairs and is still an object with an innovative and attractive design. The elegant interweaving of lines that define the forms of the DSC 106 has been admired by generations of architects and interior designers who have always regarded the chair not only for its timeless aesthetic quality, but also for its exceptional functionality and durability. The DSC 106 is concrete proof that Italian design is about more than just creativity, especially when it comes to being able to combine an aesthetic element with ergonomic research, efficiency and usability. This model is an example of the best collaboration between designer Giancarlo Piretti and the historic Italian brand Castelli.
