English Art Deco Satinwood Server
About the Item
Found in England, this satinwood server / small buffet dates from approximately 1940s. Art Deco styling includes contrasting dark stained trim on front and sides. Satinwood veneer is cut and placed so that the grains create a parquet type pattern. Two center drawers; the top drawer is lined, one side compartment has another, smaller lined drawer with open storage below and the other compartment has a single internal shelf. Slender, tapered legs. Unknown maker. Very good vintage condition with minor scattered surface wear.
