This Italian sideboard from the 1950s is truly exquisite, with its intricate hand-inlaid design by the renowned artist, inlayer, and marquetry master, Andrea Gusmai (Trani 1 May 1902-30 March 1992). The sideboard boasts an elegant and refined design, with an exceptionally high level of execution that speaks to the artist's mastery of his Craft.
One of the standout features of this piece is the stunning seabed inlaid on the front of the sideboard. The mother-of-pearl inlay on each of the four maple legs is also a remarkable detail that adds to the sideboard's overall beauty. The inside of the sideboard is crafted from maple, while the top is made of glass, providing a sleek and modern touch to the overall design.
