About the Item

The door with cross-banding and the cabinet with solid brass pulls and escutcheons and the whole resting on bracket feet. The door opens to reveal a red gilt tooled leather work surface, small center door with fancy brass hinges, flanked by column form "secret drawers" and an assortment of pigeon holes and drawers including 1/2" frieze drawers at top. The top surface in front of the cubbies slides back to reveal additional hidden storage. Dimensions: 39 3/8” H x 37 3/4” W x 21” D, closed ; 34 3/4” D, slant front open Condition: Please see detail photos. Leather top with expected wear. The slant front has a stable age crack which extends the width and evidenced by a linear dark shadow on the leather. Door is a little tight to close.
