George V mahogany twin pedestal dining table

About the Item

George V mahogany pedestal dining table This George V mahogany pedestal dining table was made circa 1930 in a top workshop. It is in the high-Georgian style that has been popular for 250 years. These dining tables are fantastic as you can get so many people around them as the supports are on the 2 central pedestals, thus allowing you to sit 2 people at each end if required. The dining table has 2 leaf inserts that can be used when required. Therefore, you have a multiple combination of table size, either without any leaves, 1 set in place or both. Imagine dining with your family and friends around this fine mahogany table and the pleasure you will have. Each of the pedestals have the turned mahogany column and then with the 3 splay legs sweeping away to the square brass toes with the rolling castors under. The legs have multi-reeds running down the upper face, adding to the classic elegant feel.
