Jindrich Halabala 'Spider' Side Table

About the Item

Jindrich Halabala for Spojene UP Zavody, Hodonin, Czechoslovakia, side table, wood, 1930s. This elegant side table is designed by the Czechoslovakian designer Jindrich Halabala (1903-1978). A suitable name is given to this design: the 'Spider' model features remarkable curved tapered legs which creates an overall playful appearance. The square-shaped wooden table top is executed with rounded edges. Its larger size makes this side table a practicable piece, for instance to play game of chess, and would be a delightful addition to a Mid-Century Modern interior. We currently have more of these tables in our stock. Please note that the table shows signs of wear and use. For further details, we encourage you to reach out to our team of design specialists.
