"Reptilia" Bracelet in Mixed Metals by Romoherrera
About the Item
Inspired by scales of a desert reptile, this abstract piece designed by Eduardo Herrera and crafted in the ROMOHERRERA workshops in Taxco, Mexico.
Using ancestral techniques pased on by generations Eduardo Herrera reinterprets the traditional art of silversmithing and brings a modern twist which is both bold and romantic.
Hand made articulated bracelet made of hand hammered silver .950, heat treated copper and tumbaga, an alloy of copper and zinc.
Eduardo Herrera is a mexican architect, his design process of layers and rivets in his jewelry and sulptures allow for lighness and movement of the piece, turning this metal object into an easy to wear comfortable piece with a hidden clasp which allows a impecable 360 view of the design.
