Large Antique Victorian Banded Agate Brooch c1890s Gold Gilt Good Condition
About the Item
This lovely brooch is big and bold!
It features a piece of brown, caramel and white striped banded agate that is oval in shape. It is set in gold gilt with nice detail of the fleur de lis and scrolling leaves.
This is a large piece measuring over 6cms x 5cms and it is in good, antique condition.
It frame is gold gilt, and there is some very light wear to the gilding, but not very noticeable and commensurate with its age (refer to photos as it can hardly be seen but mentioned for accuracy). The piece closes well with a sharp pin and a working hinge and C clasp and both are in good order.
