Victorian 13.50ct Citrine and Amethyst Brooch, c.1880s
About the Item
Evoking medieval craftsmanship this unique brooch was created in the Victorian era. Scottish in origin the brooch features a stunning display of gems. A 6 carat oval cut amethyst sits at its centre, with three 4.50 carat citrines set either side and above. Six additional agate hardstones of different colours are set around the circumference. Stunningly detailed carving can be found across the entirety of the brooch face furthering the medieval aesthetic. Crafted in 15 carat yellow gold this brooch is a true one off.
