Killer Glowing Blue 7.69ct Tanzanite - Perfect for a Ring or a Pendant
About the Item
Where are you going to find a better deal for this large, glowing, deep purply blue Tanzanite at a price like this!!??? We have over 43 years in fine colored gemstones in the trade - and our gemstones are frequently published in trade journals, books on gemstones, magazines (international and domestic), newspaper articles and other websites using our photos of our gemstones to represent their species, unique/fine cutting, unique pieces, etc.
7.69ct Incredibly Vivid glowing Blue with some Purple, Pear Shaped Tanzanite. Perfect for a ring or pendant when it it worn.
Don't miss out on this Pricing. An 8ct Tanzanite with a lighter color retails for about $16,000 as shown in the screen grab from online. (From a major mounting company that also sells gemstones to the trade - the price displayed is Retail)
Photos don't do this justice. This is the best of a small parcel that we picked up earlier in the year - prices are expected to increase on these fine Tanzies, if they haven't already. Under consideration, but still available - a store in New England has seen this piece and desires to create that is something special for the holidays. They are considering a pendant - but as noted, a ring would be great also. It was my recommendation that it wouldn't hurt to have another piece from this parcel so that a ring and pendant combo could be created and perhaps the same person would make the purchase of both as it could be a set - but in any case, if one is sold, they would still have another wonderfully deep fine quality Tanzanite in inventory to attract attention.
This particular Tanzanite puts most others on the market to shame - and it is a relatively small gemstones without having to be very large (and therefore much more costly). The first photo is perhaps the most accurate in color, but many gemstones, such as this one, are difficult to photograph and obtain the accurate color that the eye sees.

- 0.71ct Pear Shaped Diamond : SI2/SI3 H-I Loose Perfect for an Engagement RingLocated in Methuen, MAHere is another items pulled from the back of our vault and hasn't seen the light of day for decades. This 0.71ctt, Pear Shaped Diamond, has a Clarity of SI2-SI3 and a Color of H/I. It was set in an engagement setting in the past but when the price of gold went up, this diamond was removed from ring and the ring was melted for it's gold content and value. The ring and diamond were new back when this item was appraised in 2003. Diamonds have increased since the appraisal, and the value displayed on the appraisal is way off. In fact, the price of gold in 2003 when the appraisal was created, at the close of the gold market on April 17, 2003 it was ONLY $327. Today, as of writing this description, the price of gold is $2349. The second page of the appraisal pertains to the gold Tiffany...Category

- 4.27ct Freeform GREEN Zoisite (same mineral as Tanzanite!) Unique Cut & Color!Located in Methuen, MAIn keeping with All That Glitters' Unique and Rare Gems, here is a gemstone that most people are familiar with but don't know that it can come in various other colors (purple, teal, green, yellow, gold, pink and colors in between). The mineral is Zoisite and when it is a Blue Purple or Purple Blue, it is called Tanzanite. This ia a Green Zoisite; some call this Green Tanzanite or simply Fancy Tanzanite. Most Tanzanite comes out of the ground as a brown color and is heated to obtain the blue/purple; however, some is apparently heated natural in the ground and we have purchased the rough in various colors. Because this body color is Green, this would not have been heated. Zoisite/Tanzanite is trichroic and as the rough or gemstone is turned to look at all three axes, different colors can be obversed. You can see purple in some directions as this piece is viewed from the side. This interesting freeform weighs 4.27cts. This beauty was Faceted in the U.S. by a Multi-Award Winning Cutter who is represented in museums. (Initial owner/cutter was seeking about $8,000 for this unique beauty from the trade, but we have a good rapport with this cutter and we can offer this to the public at about his original price.) Photos have not been color corrected. Color and Brilliance is much better in person. For those seeking the standard color of Tanzanite, we do have a fine selection of high grade Tanzanites...Category
