Art Deco 1.60ct Diamond and Sapphire Target Ring, c.1930s
About the Item
A 0.40 carat old cut diamond is set within a ring of deep blue sapphires in this beautiful target ring from the art deco period. The surrounding sapphires are baguette cut stones totalling 0.54 carat. A further ring of diamonds, totalling 1.20 carat, add to the splendour of this beautiful ring. The diamonds used all range in colour from G to H and in clarity from VS to SI. Down each shoulder an additional 0.03 carat in diamonds completes the display and adds just a little extra sparkle to the beautiful piece. The head and shoulders of the ring have been crafted in platinum, whilst the beautifully detailed basketwork and band are made in 18 carat yellow gold.
