This exquisite watercolour depicts an engaging study of two blue tits, perched over a fragile nest of eggs. Barbed hawthorn and scent blossom ties the scene together with gentle touches of body colour picked up in the birds plumage and delicate flower petals. Signed with initials to the lower right. The painting has been beautiful presented in a wide edged mount and slim gilt frame. On paper.
