Lions is a beautiful pencil original drawing on ivory-colored paper, with interventions with blender, realized in XXi century by the German artist Wilhelm Lorenz, best know as Willi Lorenz.
A lioness and a lion portrayed in profile and at rest, with a detailed rapid sketch of a profile of lion and of a roar is realized with a rapid and sure touch. This modern artwork is in excellent conditions, with some sporadic pencil stains on lower margin. this defect does not affect the image.
Wilhelm (Willi) Lorenz (German, 1901–1981)
Wilhelm Lorenz that signed Willi Lorenz, was a German painter specialized in paintings of animals typically hunted as game. His highly detailed oil paintings and drawings evoke the texture and movement of animals like boars, foxes, bisons or lions depicted in their natural habitats and attitudes. His artworks bears resemblance and similarity to the works of Max Josef Hänger Lorenz attended the Düsseldorf Academy of Art before moving to Cologne to establish his career.

Wilhelm Lorenz
Wilhelm Lorenz, also known as Willi Lorenz, was a German painter who specialized in paintings of animals typically hunted as a game. His highly detailed oil paintings evoke the texture and movement of animals like boars, foxes, buffalos and lions, depicted in their natural habitats and attitudes. His artwork resembled the work of Max Josef Hänger Lorenz. Lorenz attended the Düsseldorf Academy of Art before moving to Cologne to start his artistic career.
