Mid Century California Meadow and Hills landscape, watercolor of a pathway through rolling hills by California artist Rene Weaver (American, 1897-1984). Signed "Rene Weaver" lower right. Presented in a painted wood frame.

Weaver graduated from the University of Idaho and studied figure and landscape painting with Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann in Portland. He had a studio at Sansome and Market streets in the Flatiron Building, San Francisco and was a member of the California Art Club.
