About the Item
This is a favourite place of the world famous Scottish Watercolour artist. Possibly more famous for his ever popular depictions of beautiful semi naked models but he himself said of his work he much preferred his landscapes! And this is a landscape he came back to time and time again.
Flint has the ability to convey so much with such economy of paint and this picture brilliantly displays that, it is spare in its approach and yet you feel the majesty of the landscape.
This is one that I would most definitely be happy to have on my wall and any fan of William Russell Flint would be equally impressed.
