About the Item
This work is the forerunner of the endless line series, despite being part of a another one, the alchemy series.
Honoré de Balzac in ” Le Chet-doevre inconnu” uses the master Frenhofer to enlighten us on certain aspects of art: “the line does not exist…one cannot define the boundary of a (human) form since it is actually made up of a series of volumes that fade into one another.”
And it is in this way that the figurative representation is freed of form and becomes a line of pure energy.

Born in Milan, from an early age Anna showed an innate attraction to drawing and colors. After graduating (Maestra d'Arte) from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, she began her career in the lively and stimulating Milanese art scene. Her works were immediately received with enthusiasm by critics and the market.
Never satisfied with success, Anna Pennati ceaselessly continued her personal and artistic journey in search of the perfect synthesis.
She thus went through various stylistic phases: a draughts woman of rare skill, she soon broke away from the academic style to approach forms and colors where the graphic layout dominated the scene, with distortions of the figure that slowly tried to free itself.
There followed a phase in which the work was born from the canvas. In other words, the initial application of color was followed by the recognition of shapes and figures that the artist slowly brought to the surface from the depths of her mind.
In 2001 she participated in the Artexpo in New York and subsequently worked in London. The Artspace Galleries, Mayfair, one of the most prestigious art venues in the English capital, was her reference point/ address for that period.
In Milan she met Valery Giscard D'Estaing, former French president; a man of refined culture, who bought one of the portraits Anna Pennati dedicated to him.
Anna Pennati is an artist addressed to the international art world, in her 25-year career she has participated in over 50 exhibitions in private galleries and museum spaces, including the Museum of Capuchin Cultural Heritage of Assisi, Miart in Milan, Artspace Galleries in London and the Northwest Sezession in Wilhelmshaven (Germany).
Pennati cleverly switches from one subject to another with great range, from time to time using a style and a technique more appropriate to the particular purpose she sets. In general, her preferred medium is acrylic on canvas, which makes the strong signs prevail, alongside color, which is the absolute protagonist of her semi abstract paintings.
In the latest works, forms, colors and lines continuously chase each other, sometimes "collaborating," sometimes "excluding" each other to arrive at artworks where the research is aimed at the archetype of ideas. The works are thus the essential expression of thought and dialogue with the viewer both visually, and mentally, allowing themselves to be slowly perceived.

- Pink RaysBy Lee HerringLocated in Los Angeles, CALee Herring focuses his contemporary paintings on vibrant, textured, and abstract landscapes that convey fleeting moments. Herring's energetic artworks are inspired by everyday moments and memories as he captures these ephemeral spaces within the context of a spontaneous, dream-like landscape. This 14.5-inch square original mixed media painting on wooden board is signed by the artist on the front and back. This artwork is framed in a white wood frame and is wired and ready to hang. Size and price include the frame. Convenient local Los Angeles shipping. Affordable Continental U.S. and International shipping also available. A Certificate of Authenticity issued by the gallery is included. Lee Herring was born in Sunderland, in north-east England. After excelling in art throughout his early education, he went on to study Fine Art at the University of Chester where he developed his painting style. Herring graduated with 1st class honors and was awarded the University Prize for his work. Years of dedication to his creative practice have cultivated Herring’s current multimedia style. Each of Herring’s paintings evolves through a spontaneous process. The conventional paintbrush is abandoned as Herring employs layers of impasto pastel hues in acrylic, markers, neon spray paint, and a glaze of varnish with pallet knives, trowels, and scrapers. The physicality of his work is evident in the visceral nature of his paintings. Sell-out shows and professional collaborations characterize Herring's international presence as his style constantly develops. His artworks are displayed and represented internationally with a strong following of investors, collectors, and reputable galleries.
